Aero features alot of customization including fonts, themes(many themes), renaming apps, changing positions, defaults apps for time, dialer, camera, etc. There’s also an option to hide and show the status bar, keyboard auto-open for search when in you open app menu etc.

You can set a maximum of 10 apps on the home screen, on the right side we have the app menu & nothing on the left side.

2. A decluttered launcher

Decluttered launcher features a beautiful design and every part of it feels smooth. It lets you keep 4 apps on the screen and currently features only one mode, light.

To access the launcher settings press and hold anywhere on the screen, swipe left to access camera, swipe right to access contacts, swipe up for app menu and swipe down for google search. You can change swipe right and left apps from the launcher settings. It has 3 text sizes small, medium and large.

There’s time on the top left and 3 options for the top right, Date, calendar which shows upcoming events from your google calendar & hide calendar for keeping it empty.

3. Focus launcher

Focus launcher has a unique design, the homescreen contains time, date and a “Stay focused!” text on screen.

To access apps you can swipe up, swipe down, swipe left, swipe right, double click, long click and use volume up down. So in total you can 8 apps to launch.

For customization it has 3 theme options, Productivity, dark and custom theme. Custom theme lets you use your own wallpaper which you probably need as theres nothing on the homescreen to look at otherthan the wallpaper itself.

Accessing the list of apps is hard you first have to access launcher settings and launch apps from there.

4. Indistractable

Indistractable launcher is very feature rich, You can change almost anything you desire.
My favorite parts of indistractable are showing day and year in progress in percentages (%) , screen time and the inbuilt tasks.

You can hide apps, mark favorite apps to put them into homescreen (maximum of 4 on free version), hide status bar, search bar, character scroll in app menu,  battery level, clock, date, calendar, weather, screen time, default tasks, has double tap to lock, disable swipe down to show notifications, etc. There’s alot going in it. It has quite alot of themes and supports icon packs aswell, it lets you customize the font and the font size.

Theres also a pro version of Indistractable which has alot more settings to choose from.

5. Boring Launcher

Boring launcher has a quite unique design. On the bottom you can store your apps (8 is the maximum), if you swipe left you get your app menu, if you swipe right you can see your app usage chart in pie and list from, on the top you’ve 4 options to choose from, launcher settings, app selection, notification settings and system settings. In the middle you get time, date and to-do/Memo section.

In terms of customization it lets your show app titles, turn four apps mode, hide app icons, change app icon sizes, lets you daily limit app access and the pro version lets you change themes, turn on tasks notificiations, change hour time format and show seconds because every second matters.

6. Less Phone

Less Phone is very basic with just 4 apps on the screen in free version, only light theme and thats it.

You get time, date and battery level on the top. Apps in the middle, dialer and settings on the bottom.

The pro version lets you choose number of apps between 2-8, change theme between light, black, yellow and blue and change font size between small, medium, and large.

7. Lite.ly

Another compact laucher with maximum of 6 apps including built in tasks (can be set to your custom app). Phone and settings on the bottom, Time, date and battery at the top and thats it.

To get the application drawer, themes and lite mode toggle which lets you block the app menu, you need to make an in-app purchase.

8. Minimalist Phone

Swipe up to open search, Swipe down to see notifications, swiping left reveals the app menu where you can search, favorite apps for homescreen or hide the apps you find distracting. It has notification filter to minimize distractions. For customizability you can change color theme, font and font size. Time format, date format, animations, shortcuts can also be changed or disabled. Monochrome mode is also present which lets you recude your screen time on highly engaging apps.

For unlimited number of favorite, renamed, hidden apps and custom color themes you need to purchase full version.

9. OLauncher

Swipe left for application menu, right for camera, up for applications menu, down for notificiations and hold to access launcher settings.

From settings you can change the number of apps on screen (Maximum 8), show keyboard automatically on app menu, toggle status bar on or off, show date time, change app alignment between left, right and center, choose theme between dark and light, turn on double tap to lock and change gesture app for left and right.

10. Slim Launcher

Slim launcher lets you put 7 apps on your homescreen. It has no wallpapers only few color themes for minimal distractions. It shows apps by their name only not with icons. In settings you can toggle status bar, choose time format, and change theme.

11. Maximal

Maximal has a interesting design and high customizability. It comes with inbuilt todo list on the right. On the top we’ve System settings and battery level, Time, date and apps are located at the middle, Assistant, app menu and todo-list are located at bottom. For customizing you can change the card style apps to an app list and also turn of the card shadow effect, add maximum of 12 apps and rename them, change font size, change background color, text color and switch to analog clock. To unlock all color options you need to purchase maximal premium.

The app was not found in the store. 🙁

12. Productivity Launcher

Another well-designed distractionless launcher. Productivity has tons of options to choose from, it supports themes, 3rd party icon packs, custom fonts and font sizes, show time, day and date, day in progress, year in progress, battery level, call button, automatic keyboard in app drawer, character scroll, search bar, show app usage time in app drawer, support for gestures such as swipe for notifications, long press for settings, double-tap to sleep, and pinch out to open hidden apps. 

You can add unlimited apps on the home screen, hide apps, rename apps, show status bar, and show app icons.
The best part is it has no premium/paid subscription, it’s truly free.

13. Before Launcher

Before launcher is in my opinion one of the best launchers on this list. It’s very polished and very smooth, you can feel the efforts put by the dev into it. You can add up to 7 apps on the screen, to the right we’ve got an app menu where you can access launcher settings as well, and to the left we’ve filtered notifications where less important notifications don’t flash, vibrate, make noise or appear on your lock screen. But, you can still access them easily.

Before launcher is highly customizable, it features a large list of photo, gradient, and solid themes including true black background to significantly preserve battery of AMOLED screen users or you can create your own, it supports different icon styles and 3rd party icon packs, lets you change home screen text size,  shows recently used apps on top, enable app search, it also lets you change label, create folder, hide app or pin app on the application menu. Apps can be sorted by A-Z, Recently used, Install date, and Size. Before is also very privacy-friendly, they don’t track any personally identifiable data and lets you turn off anonymous analytics.

14. BitLauncher

Bitlauncher is very basic and barebone, there’s not much to it. On the home screen, we’ve time (not clickable), not more than 7 apps, and launcher settings. If you swipe left you can access the app menu with search functionality. You can choose between light and dark themes (not AMOLED black), hide the status bar, access system settings, and that’s it
